The plans will serve as a roadmap for Dhaka North and Dhaka South to become carbon-neutral by 2050, aligning with Bangladesh&#8217;s National Commitment of conditional emissions reduction target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both city corporations aim to cut emissions by 14.9% by 2030 and 33.8% by 2040, compared to the 2021-22 fiscal year baseline.
